Belglane liiklusraevu videost: kui mulle vestlus ära tõlgiti, oli minu hämming veelgi suurem
"Kuigi igas riigis on teedel liikumas sigatsejaid ja idioote, oli sellist videopilti nähes siiralt üllatunud. See agressiivne mees põhjustas sulaselge liiklusrikkumise ja peaks kindlasti rünnatud autojuhi ees vabandama. Loodan, et politsei reageerib nõuetekohasel viisil ja kui nad seda ei tee, on see Eesti riigile suur häbiplekk. Belgias pandi selline liiklushuligaan hiljuti 18 kuuks vangi. Kui lasin oma sõbral tõlkida, mida Eestis levinud videos "kurikamees" ja teine autojuht omavahel rääkisid, oli minu üllatus veel suurem. Jah, osadel eestlastel on probleeme venekeelt pruukivate kaasmaalastega ja see võib olla pärand 20. sajandist, aga paljud Euroopa riigid kannatasid 20. sajandil sõdade ja okupatsiooni küüsis. See aga ei tähenda, et peaksime tänasel päeval endiselt üksteist vihkama. Eestlased peaksid tulema Belgiasse, sest meil eksisteerib kolm ametlikku riigikeelt, kuid kolme eri kogukonda suudavad väga harmooniliselt teineteisega läbi saada ja koos elada. Jah, ainult poliitikud vaidlevad, aga see on nende töö," kirjeldab belglane Marc oma emotsioone "kurikamehe" videot vaadates.

Although every country has his idiots and road hogs, I was really surprised to see this video. The aggressive man made clearly a traffic offense and should apologize instead of attack the other driver. I hope the police will react in a proper way. If they do not, it’s a blame for Estonia. Recently, in Belgium, a persistent road hog was sentenced to 18 months in prison. After a friend translated the conversation between the two drivers, my surprise became even bigger. Clearly some Estonians have a problem with their Russian-speaking fellow countrymen. I suppose that is a heritage of the 20th century. But all European countries suffered from war and occupation in the 20th century. That does not mean that today we still have to hate each other. Estonians should come to Belgium: we have three official languages and three different communities all live together in harmony (only politicians argue, but that is their job).
