Today's Eesti Päevaleht weighs the most recent events in Ukraine and concludes in its editorial that the country needs more help.

"Russia's incursion in Ukraine has reached a new level and needs a commensurate response. Not just a response by saying that the survival Ukraine’s territorial integrity ’evokes deep concern’, but real financial, technical support, and advice where needed. Also, in the form of arms," says the paper.

"Sending arms to Ukraine would be a new step to show the country’s enemies that continued efforts to break it up will not work. At least until Ukrainians themselves oppose it. Ukrainians take the risks and shed blood; the West must offer real help. Ukraine has to have the means to defend itself. If not all NATO allies could be persuaded to give help on a new level, a group of countries must initiate it - and this must include Estonia."
